Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
Which ISBN-code should I choose when I want to add a boocki? ISBN-10 or ISBN-13?
You always should choose the ISBN-code that is under the barcode of your study book. This is usually ISBN-13.
How can I see which study books are for sale at my school or university?
Boocki automatically adds an orange line around the advertisements of study books that are available at your school or university.
What do I have to fill in when using ‘Extra edition information’ when I want to add a boocki?
Here you can fill in optional edition additions. For example, when your study book has the ‘Second European Edition’, you write ‘2’ at Edition and ‘European Edition’ at Extra edition information.
What is the difference between ‘Advertisement image’ and ‘Other images’ when I want to add a boocki?
The ‘Advertisement image’ is the image people see when they’re scrolling through the advertisements list of a particular study book. People see the ‘Other images’ when they click on a particular advertisement to get some extra information about the study book.
Which e-mails won’t I receive anymore when I turnoff ‘Receive e-mails’ in ‘Profile’?
When you turnoff ‘Receive e-mails’ you don’t receive any e-mails from boocki again. So neither e-mails when someone starts a chat with you or makes an offer on the study book you’re currently selling.
Is it a problem that I accidentally filled in the wrong ISBN-code when I added a boocki?
No, this is no problem. You can always adjust your study book’s ISBN-code at ‘Outstanding advertisements’ and subsequently click on the little pencil.
